We want Siva to be a diverse and inclusive community of creators, members and professionals. We believe that the essential nature of all human beings is to be good — kind, considerate, helpful, intelligent, responsible, supportive and respectful of others. However, this does not mean that everyone always acts accordingly. Therefore, we’ve created this list of community guidelines that we ask all Siva members to adhere to. Members found to be acting outside of our guidelines risk account suspension or removal from Siva.
These Community Guidelines have been carefully created as a commitment to you, the User. We understand that this is your space, as much as it is ours, and for Siva Creators and Professionals, this also marks your livelihood. These guidelines are in place to protect you, enrich your experience on Siva and to create a fair, transparent community that respects and supports one another.
Siva Community Guidelines
Do not post other people’s personal information. Please do not post any personal information of other members or third parties unless you have obtained express permission from them to do so.
You cannot attempt to intimidate anyone through your use of the Site. Do not bully, harass or threaten another person. This includes threats of violence, and threats to hurt others in any way. If you are a victim of this behaviour and feel that your personal safety is at risk, we suggest you contact your local law enforcement, in addition to reporting the User that has committed the threat to us.
We will not tolerate slurs or hate speech, including denigrating comments involving race, sexual orientation, religious or political belief, age, or just about anything else, whether personal or general. We take hate speech seriously and request that if you are a victim of hate speech, please report it to us immediately.
Please do not try to mislead others. Please do not use malware or other deceptive code when you post. Please do not phish. Please do not follow large numbers of members in bulk for the sole purpose of leading them to your profile. We are proud of our creative, diverse and transparent community. Therefore, we ask that you act in an honest and open manner and do not use Siva to spam, mislead or deceive others.
Siva is for human beings, not bots. We want Siva to be an organic network built on meaningful connections and trusts. Because of this, we ask that you only post in a natural manner and do not use robots to automate any activities on Siva.
Do not post content that belongs to third parties without their consent. Please make sure you have the right to post the content that you share on Siva. Please only post content that is legal. You can not post content that violates governmental law or regulation.
Do not register a username that you are not going to use yourself. We want everyone to have the opportunity to use Siva. If you do not plan to use a username, please do not register it to prevent someone else from using it. Usernames that have not been actively used for an extended period of time may be reclaimed.
You are uniquely you. Please do not impersonate others. Siva rewards creators monetarily for posting original content. Be yourself, or a version of yourself. But do not pretend to be someone else or post content that is not original to you.
Do not post anything inappropriate about minors, including things that are violent or sexual in nature.
Do not use Siva to intrude on other people’s privacy. Although anything posted on Siva is available publicly, we ask that you do not use Siva to intrude on or betray other people’s privacy.
Don’t upload content that is illegal or prohibited. This includes but is not limited to drug use, bestiality, and terrorism. If we find you posting or interacting with illegal or prohibited content, your account will be deleted and we will be required to take appropriate action which may include reporting you to law enforcement.
As we strive to create a diverse and inclusive community, we are aware that certain content will not be suitable for all Users. If we are aware of any child sexual exploitation, we will report it to the appropriate legal authorities.
Please respect your fellow community members. If someone has blocked or muted you, please respect their decision and do not try to communicate with them through an alternative account.
Siva’s community guidelines expressly forbid posting abusive content of any kind, including content that portrays or encourages violence towards people or animals.
Do not hack the Siva website, app, or associated networks, or bypass its measures to restrict users’ access.
Do not distribute files that contain viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other materials that are malicious or harmful.
Do not modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, or create any derivative products based on Siva, including any files, tables or documentation, nor attempt to regenerate any source code, algorithms, methods, or techniques embodied in Siva.
Do not use automated scripts to collect information from Siva.
We recommend you to use your real, full name or registered business name for your account.
We do not permit misinformation that could cause harm to our community or the larger public. While we encourage our users to have respectful conversations about the subjects that matter to them, we remove misinformation that could cause harm to an individual’s health or wider public safety.
If you do not adhere to our community guidelines we may contact you and ask you to adhere. If you do not comply, your account may be suspended or removed and your username forfeited. We reserve the right to enforce or not to enforce these guidelines in whatever way we see fit, at our sole discretion.
It is important to note that Siva’s community guidelines and supporting policies do not create a duty or contractual obligation for us to act in any particular manner. We reserve the right to change these guidelines at any time.
We want Siva to be a diverse and inclusive community and we ask that you are welcoming, supportive and kind to all users that you encounter on the Siva platform. You may not always see eye to eye with everyone on Siva, however we ask that you respect that they may have differing opinions or views to you. As long as they are not acting unlawfully or in a way that breaks our Community Guidelines, our Users have the right to express themselves without feeling intimidated. This is a safe, secure space where respectful discussions are welcome.
If you encounter abusive, threatening or illegal behaviour or find someone is not acting in accordance with our Community Guidelines, please report it by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org. We will assess the situation, and take action as necessary.
